Catching up from the Weekend....

It was another Whirlwind Weekend for the Winkels and I feel like I'm still catching my breath....and sleep....and it's Wednesday.

Yikes.

On Friday I got to fulfill an almost 10-year dream to see Josh Groban live in concert.

My brother-in-law Andrew won tickets for me and my sister to go to his concert in Edmonton.

It was amazing.

I had to share this photo that we took before we left because it made us bust out laughing, we have a thing for taking pictures like this and they always crack me up. Trust me, we were much more enthused than we seem. :)

Of course, being the rule-abiding person that I am I did not bring my camera with me to the concert, and it was a good thing too, my bag was checked VERY thoroughly by a stern looking security guard...I fear it would have been confiscated if I'd had it on me.  Which is really too bad because our seats ended up being a stones throw from the mini stage that Mr. J.G. himself did half the concert, sitting at sweet little piano just like this,... actually exactly like this... I think this is even what he wore....although I can't be totally sure, seeing as half the concert my eyes were closed swooning to the music, and they other half they were filled with tears...also because of the music. It's official Josh Groban is INCREDIBLE.

Anyway, it was all kinds of amazing, so amazing that we ended up giddily chatting about all of the evenings finest points in my sister's hot tub till one in the morning....

like I said, I'm catching up on my sleep only now....

and that was just Friday... So I'll fill you in on the rest later.
