A Lyrical Friday

Don't you just love how I keep you guessing what coming for Friday?

Really, I never quite know myself. Sometimes it's a single moment, sometimes a funny anecdote, sometimes both. Today, it's a moment and a Song Lyric in the tradition of Lyrical April started by my friend Nicola over at Which Name.

{The Moment}...when you find the first Ladybug out for her afternoon stroll...

{The Song} ...that's made me thoughtful all week

This week, with the starting of our garden; our many ,many (some life-changing)  plans, and all the immense work that lies between dreams and fruition,
I thought of this song often and it's  been high on our play list lately

I can change the world
With my own two hands
Make it a better place
With my own two hands
Make it a kinder place
With my own two hands
With my own,
With my own two hands

I can make peace on earth
With my own two hands
I can clean up the earth
With my own two hands
I can reach out to you
With my own two hands
With my own,
With my own two hands.

I'm going to make it a brighter place
With my own two hands
I'm going to make it a safer place
With my own two hands
I'm going to help the human race
With my own two hands
With my own,
With my own two hands

I can hold you
With my own two hands
I can comfort you
With my own two hands
But you've got to use,
Use your own two hands
Use your own
Use your own two hands
With my own
With my own two hands.

Jack Johnson and Ben Harper.
